Through the RNIP, you can obtain permanent residence in Canada in 2020. The program was first launched in 2019. The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program was established to fill the labor need in Canada’s rural and northern regions. The RNIP program provides qualified foreign workers with a road to permanent residency in Canada by allowing them to work and live in any of the Pilot communities.

The Pilot was announced in a June 14, 2019 press release titled “Eleven localities to recruit newcomers to boost middle-class jobs.”
